The Wilbur family has long owned a property adjacent to Fitzgerald Lake Conservation Area on Boggy Meadow Road just before the beaver pond. The city of Northampton has come to an agreement with the family to purchase this property The purchase is awaiting funding decisions from the Northampton CPA and the state LAND fund. Assuming the city raises the money, closing is anticipated early in 2021. We are very excited about this future addition to Northampton’s conservation lands.
